Persecution In Elie Wiesel's Night

In writing the book Night, Elie Wiesel was able to document his experiences to help society not repeat the past. It is often said that we study history to not make the same mistakes, and Wiesel’s Night helps contribute to why we do not want to make the same mistakes. By writing about life in a concentration camp, Wiesel allows people to realize that persecution this extreme is considered inhumane and cruel. In Night, Wiesel was subject to poor treatment.
