People success because of hard work
Name: KI KIM
Class: A3.1 Essay Writing Topic: When people succeed, it is because of hard work. Luck has nothing to do with success.

Nowadays, many people hold the opinion that success only come to people when they work hard and luck does not play any roles, but some people think when people success because of luck not hard work. As far as I am concerned, I do agree with the statement said that when people success, it is because of hard work and luck has nothing to do with success. There are a few reasons why I hold such an attitude. My arguments for this point are listed as follow. First of all, I put my priority in career. All achievements at work are always resulted of hard work not luck. In competitive society, people try to work day by day to get success. First, do you think that reaching the moon was because of luck? Of course not; reaching to such place needed a very hard work and planning. People have spent years of hard work until got the required success. To reach a CEO position or higher levels in certain company, one must set this goal in the mind and improve needed skills and abilities to be filled such position. For example, Bill Gates, a CEO of Microsoft, he reached to the top of the world not because of luck, but because of dedicated hard work he done in his early life. Even sometimes he was banned from school, he tried to pursuit success. Another example is Steve Jobs, the former CEO of Apple company. His success is not because of luck but hard work. He spent some time travelled to India to do research on Technology. And when he went back to US, he tried to work with other people such as Wozniak for example. Last he was absolutely successful with his career and become known all over the world. Secondly, I did not see a single successful student in school because he was lucky. A successful student always puts an effort and hard work to get the highest grades or to pass the examinations. Before the test he or she has to spend time

Another may feel as if their hard work paid off. Preparing to do something typically is done with an end goal in mind, and luck is random. An example of this is; I submitted my resume online looking for a job. I got an e-mail for a highly profitable company with the most ideal position, that I did not qualify for, yet they offered me a job. I did not prepare for the job, nor did I have the proper education, but I was lucky enough to get the offer without being prepared. If I had the proper education for the position, I wouldn't feel lucky, I would feel like the education paid off the way I intended it to. So, is the opportunity where luck comes…

The definition of success defers from person to person. Some believe that being rich is successful, while others may value family beyond fortune. For me, success means that I can do everything I want to do. However, can do something is very different from wanting to do something. Sometimes we have chances of making our dreams come true. But without capability, we can only let chances pass away. It is to say, success in life comes from careful planning more than from only taking risks or chances. Only risks or chances cannot make things happen, like only kindling cannot make fire.…
