A Son of Thunder {Patrick Henry and the American Republic}is a great biography of one of America’s greatest orators, Patrick Henry. This book, written by Henry Mayer, depicts Henry’s childhood all the way to his death. Others should read this book to learn the life of a great man that fought for the independence of our nation. His wonderful speech skills helped him in a variety of careers. Patrick Henry had a much more interesting life than you might think.
