In the Play, “Romeo and Juliet”, Juliet`s relationship with her parents is very different from Romeos relationship with his parents .Romeos parents are both loving and understanding of his feelings. For example, on lines (210-211) it says, “Alas, my liege, my wife is dead tonight! Grief of my son`s exile hath stopped her breath”. This shows that even though Romeo and his parents aren’t that close, it still caused the grief of the father, and death of the mother. The relationship between Juliet and her parents is much different. For example, on lines (80-88) Lady Capulet is trying to convince Juliet to marry Paris because Juliet is already considered “old”, and because Paris has the looks, and money. For example, on lines (act I, sc.II, ln.77) Lady says, “Verona`s summer hath not such a flower”. This shows that her mother is more worried about marrying her off to a guy that has the looks and money, instead of letting Juliet choose what, and who she wants.…
