Paraphilia is an obsessive condition where the person is depended on a specific fantasy, stimulus or physical. The specific fantasy, stimulus or physical is needed for the person to achieve sexual excitement or orgasm. The fantasy, stimulus or physical is often considered unusual and very odd in other peoples eyes.

Eyesight- Pyromaniac, the pyromaniac gets sexual arousal by watching a fire. This paraphilia is getting his sexual arousal by using his/her eyesight.
Hearing- Narratophilia, using hearing to listen to erotic stories to achieve sexual arousal.
Taste- Coprophilia, using his/her taste to eat feces gives the person sexual stimulation.
Touch- Frottage, a kind of paraphilia that get´s sexual stimulation when they are rubbing their body against someone else outer clothing. This kind of paraphilia is using his/her touch to get sexual

Johnson wanted to hunt them down and kill them because it was a part of his fantasy. One could see that this is his signature because letting them loose to hunt them is not something Johnson would do to successfully commit the crime of murder. He wanted to chase them because it fulfilled his fantasy, it was not a part of how he committed the crime, it was a part of what he needed to do to fulfill himself and his fantasy during the act. Robert Johnson also left his victims in shallow graves after killing them and kept a map of where he had hidden the bodies. This would I consider a part of his signature too, because it was not a part of how Johnson committed the crime, if it was he wouldn't leave the bodies in a shallow place or kept a map at home where he had hidden the bodies. Johnson probably did that so he could come back and revisit the bodies, and it was not a part of how he performed the crime it was about what he wanted to do to fulfill
