My Reaction
The Our Lady of Peñafrancia is a patroness of the province of Bicol that can be found in the city of Naga in the region. It is believed that this shrine can perform miraculous acts that many of the local people devote, as well as the tourist would go to see her. A religious patron at first but then became a tourist attraction as time goes by because of the fast spreading news that it can grant your wishes and , heal different illnesses. and also the place itself where it is located has really a must-seen church, a museum of the patroness nearby, and a festival that is being celebrated every year. It is believed that this shrine can perform miraculous acts that many of the local people devote, as well as the tourist would go to see her. Apart from this religious practice, many local and foreign tourists visit the shrine because the place wherein it is now located at the Basilica Minore in Naga city is built based on a magnificent architectural design. This patroness is known all over the province because of the testimonials of the people that she really gives out miracles when you ask it to something from her and, cure sickness when you call her. The belief of the people devoting to this patroness resulted to a positive way. Apart from this religious practice, many local and foreign tourists visit the shrine because the place wherein it is now located at the Basilica Minore in Naga city is built based on a magnificent architectural design. The place where it is located has a must-see church, a museum of the patroness nearby, and a festival that is being celebrated every year.

The feast of Our Lady of Peñafrancia is celebrated on the third Saturday of September in Naga City, Bicol. The feast day is preceded by a novena, nine days of prayer, in honor of the Virgin.
