She was a very aggressive for a 14 year old .It was her very first mission tomorrow she thought. Though she was excited, somewhere inside her she had a feeling of guilt like she was doing something wrong. “Are you even going to sleep tonight?” yawned Annabeth. She was Elizabeth’s best friend. She too was a beautiful girl, with blonde hair, and eyes just like Elizabeth’s, just a little lighter in color. “Chase is already asleep,” said Annabeth, closing her eyes “how are you going to go on your first mission, if you never wake up?” “ Okay,” …show more content…
Elizabeth was not surprised by the Elder and the man disappearing, these things kept happening in the academy. In the academy they called it disairating. Mrs.Lity then turned to Elizabeth, her expression was calm again.“Elizabeth, dear since there in an unfortunate problem, I will cut this short for you, and explain things later.”she finished.
“Okay,” said Elizabeth quickly, understanding the problem “If you look to your right their is a bed, pretty similar to the ones in your room,” said Mrs.Lity “If, you lay down there, than you will automatically change into your new mission suit, and get a weapon that suits your style”
“Alright,” said Elizabeth “but, what is my mission?”

Elizabeth quickly went and layed down on the bed. Her new mission suit was purple and yellow and she got a huge bronze sword which was a little heavy for her. Then she slowly touched the monkey’s head, it sprang into life and jumped on the ground.

Elizabeth followed as the monkey ran out some doors, though she did not have any super speed she was a fast runner. When they actually came out of the academy, there was not a single sound except for the sound of the wind blowing. The monkey kept moving forward.

Elizabeth noticed that the roads were empty and not even a single person could be seen. She slowly moved forward, making sure she doesn’t make too much noise. After, about five to ten minutes Elizabeth saw someone at distance. As she moved forward, she could see the figure of a young man. He looked a little older than Elizabeth, he had messy brown hair and blackish-brown eyes. He looked like he hadn’t had food for a while.
As Elizabeth moved forward she asked, “Who are

At the start he was very matter of fact and by the red room he is frightened by a statue of Ganymede and Eagle. Ganymede is a character from Greek mythology. He was supposedly the most beautiful of all mortals, and so the king of the gods took the form of an eagle and stole him from earth to become the god’s cupbearer. This relates to the story, as in both the story and the myth, the main character finds himself powerless in the face of a greater power. He reaches the room, which appears normal, and then suspense is built again, as the candles are extinguished due to an unknown cause. This is similar in The Monkey’s Paw. The characters are very relaxed at the beginning and confident of the lack of power by the paw, only Mr. White’s and the soldiers fear gives us warning of possible problems. Then once Herbert dies they start panicking and the wife even goes slightly…

The monkey presented in the story symbolizes the animalistic nature of humans. The monkey represents the stubborn, bias, and shallow views of the people of the time period in the quote, “... a gray monkey about a foot high, chained to a chinaberry tree, chattered nearby. The monkey sprang back into the tree and got to the highest limb as soon as he saw the children jump out of the car and run toward him.”(O’Connor 325) The animal is chained to signify the limitations to the views the characters like the Grandmother and Red Sam believe. When someone poses animal-like characteristics, humans completely dominate their environment that our social structures have become ecosystems unto themselves. Animals learn to act exactly like their parents as they grow to adulthood; furthermore, once the animal is an adult, it has the behaviors, ideas, and motives of the parents that will never change and will pass those traits on to the next generation. This corresponds with the Grandmother and the story, with her children and grandchildren; for example, when a person is the most dominant character in the family, the inferior ones follow behind grasping the beliefs of the dominate character.…

Monkey is smart animal Eventually, in 630 CE, Monkey is released by the monk Tripitaka, who has been tasked by the Boddhisatva Guan Yin to undertake a pilgrimage from China to India to fetch holy scriptures. The pair soon recruit two former members of the Heavenly Host who were cast out and turned from angels to "monsters", as a result of Monkey's transgressions: Sandy, the water monster and ex-cannibal, expelled from Heaven after his interference caused Heaven's Jade Emperor's precious jade cup to be broken, and Pigsy, a pig monster consumed with lust and gluttony, who was expelled from Heaven after harassing the Star Princess Vega—the Jade Emperor's mistress—for a kiss. A dragon, Yu Lung, who was set free by Guan Yin after being sentenced to death, eats Tripitaka's horse. On discovering that the horse was tasked with carrying Tripitaka, it assumes the horse's shape to carry the monk on his journey. Later in the story he occasionally assumes human form to assist his new master, although he is still always referred to as 'Horse'. Monkey can also change form, for instance into a hornet. In Episode 3, The Great Journey Begins, Monkey transforms into a girl to trick Pigsy. Monkey's other magic powers include: summoning a cloud upon which he can fly; his use of the magic wishing staff which he can shrink and grow at will and from time to time, when shrunk, store in his ear, and which he uses as a weapon; and the ability to conjure monkey warriors by blowing on hairs plucked from his chest.…
