Availability of suitable transport – privately owned or public transport. Distance from or access to high performance or National Institute centres e.g. National Tennis Centre, SW London; warm weather training in Cyprus or high altitude training venues for athletes.
Suitable and available clubs, activities, leagues, competitions or courses nearby. Suitable and regular competitions with and against other high level performers.
