The novel Atlas Shrugged, set in a dystopian United States at an unspecified time, by Ayn Rand dramatically expresses the philosophical value like ethical egoism of the author, since he himself developed a philosophical system, Objectivism, and other concept like sanction of the victim, and other values regarding to government and business, property rights and individualism, and theory of sex. The story is surrounded a railroad company and its operators, the Taggarts, and the two main characters, Dagny Taggart and John Galt, who together face several conflicts in the business with the government.
