Nurse Family Collaboration Essay
Thanks for reminding us how important the nurse-family collaboration is in decreasing the incidence of delirium in hospitalized patients. Rosenbloom-Brunton, Henneman, and Inouye (2010) stated that nurses play a significant role in engaging the family caregivers in preventing delirium through therapeutic partnership and by supporting the family’s participation through education and commitment to an inpatient setting with enough space, lesser disruptions, and adequate staffing (p. 32). Just like Dr. Hultgren, I definitely like your statement at the end of your post! It just shows that the theoretical frameworks are interrelated to the nursing research process, wherein we can draw the best evidence possible for the clinical practices. Great
