Northport, Malaysia's Pioneer Port
Northport is Malaysia's largest operator of multi-purpose port, handling 60% of the nation's trade. It is also Malaysia's pioneer port, bringing along with it 103 years of rich heritage in port dynamics. Northport is strategically located midway on the West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia overlooking the world's busiest waterway, the Straits of Malacca. It is in the Free Commercial Zone of Port Klang, in the state of Selangor. It is further complemented by Malaysia's premier business township, the Klang Valley and is only 60 kilometers away from the federal capital, Kuala Lumpur.

Thirdly, Conventional Services division provides a range of conventional services, which include handling of dry bulk, break bulk, and liquid cargo at Northport and South point berths. The activity of conventional services can be done by using the backup facilities, such as transit sheds, warehouses, mechanical handling equipment, and bulk cranes. Lastly, the Distripark division offers a range of services, which include warehousing and pre- shipment activities, such as documentation, internal haulage, packing and relabeling, and other value added activities at Northport.
Northport is owned and operated by Northport (Malaysia) Bhd, a fully Malaysian owned and one of the largest private port operating companies in the region.
