The bible is refer to as a collection of scared writing for Christians, which is comprise of the Old Testament and New Testament. The bible is also known as Hebrew Scriptures. It is accepted as being authoritative, informative , and reliable source. The Word Bible is derived from the Greek word “Biblos”[1] which refers to the outer coat of papyrus reed in Egypt during the eleventh century B.C. and by the second century A.D. The term was used to refer to the authoritative writings of Christianity. The researchers have explored many different literatures and have concluded that the Bible is inerrant and contains no contradictions. The bible consists of 66 books that were written by 40 authors fifteen hundred years ago.
Since the inception of the trinity some Christians’’ and atheist hold the view that the bible is full of contradictions.
Let us examine this statement” does the bible contradict its self?” Many people does not understand what they read and as a result miss interpret what the scriptures in the bible are about. The bible speaks volume , one can fully appreciate the bible when they know the Greek, Hebrew and geographical location before one can understand and accept the foundation on which the bible come in existent.

The conversion of Paul on his journey to Damascus. In Acts 9:7 we read that during Paul’s encounter with Christ the men who were with him heard a voice. In Acts 22:9 we read that these men heard no voice. Well, what appears to be a contradiction is easily resolved by looking at the original language, Greek. Here we see a distinction between “hearing a sound as a noise” and “hearing a voice as a thought-conveying message.” According to Gleason Archer, a biblical scholar points out, that while Paul’s companions heard the Voice as a sound; Paul alone heard what was being said.
