Never Give Up
NEVER GIVE UP

The expression “Never give up” means to keep trying and never stop working for your goals. I agree with this statement. I think this statement is true because you can be whatever you want to be, you just have to set your mind to it and work for it. If you work hard enough, you can achieve your goals without a problem. You should commit to achieve your goals no matter how long it takes, even if it takes another 50 years of living until you achieve it. Everything takes time, you just have to be patient. “Winners never quit, and quitters never win.” Vince Lombardi once said. The famous baseball player, Jackie Robinson was not wanted in the baseball league, but played anyway because he loved the game, no matter how many times they threw the ball at his head or tried to hurt him on the field or even if his teammates didn’t want him on the team, he changed baseball forever Another reason for you to never give up is Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan didn’t even make his high school basketball team. He turned out to be the best basketball player to ever play the game. “I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game winning shot, and I missed. I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” Michael Jordan said. So yes once again I do think the statement is true because you can be whatever you set your mind to

“Never give up, and be confident in what you do. There may be tough times, but the difficulties which gave you face will make you more determined to achieve your objectives and to win against all odds.” This was what women’s Brazilian soccer star Marta once advised. Never giving up may sound like a goal that is impossible to reach in reality. Although that may be true, in literature there are characters who exhibit it ideally. For instance, Joan Bauer’s short story “A Letter from the Fringe” introduces a figure who showcases these traits. On a somber day, Dana, the protagonist, a high school student at Bronley High was tormented by bullies alongside her friend Sally for being overweight. Although, it seemed as if her heart had been torn out and thrown to the side, she was capable of forcing the two tyrants to flee. Afterwards, she insisted that they had no right to…

This quote has been the foundation for my father's belief that team sports teach commitment. When I started middle school my father insisted that I do a team sport. At the time I had been riding horses for many years and was facing a fork in the road and had to make a big decision. At 11 years old I changed the course of my life by joining a team sport in which I have learned the value of personal commitment, strong leadership skills, and how to challenge myself to achieve both mine and my teammates’ goals.…
