Neo And The Matrix
Neo is not an ordinary human in fact he is the complete opposite. “Neo” aka Thomas A Anderson has developed a deep interest in something called “The Matrix.” The Matrix is described by “Morpheus as a vague notion.” Neo then began to start to feel as if “There is something wrong with the world.”("Neo (The Matrix) - Character Background." Neos desire is to figure out what it is that is not right with the world itself. Trying to discover what it is, Neo then feels trapped and tends to not follow rules because he feels as if they might limit him. Thomas A. Anderson aka “Neo” then receives a message to follow the white rabbit by using his gps on his phone and then runs into Trinity. She then tells him that she knows what the matrix is really about. We can either live by the set rules and regulations, or just be apathetic. This can also include other things such as: freedom and power. In the beginning Neo is portrayed by being an unhappy person who gets held back by his own depression and mindset. By getting introduced to a group of encouraging friends, he finds his path in life The movie “The Matrix” suggests that people who live up to their potential will certainly fulfill their purpose. These people are meant to do something but they have to put forth the initial effort. This effort is usually put forth because he or she has an ambitious personality and supportive friends or family to help them get throughout different situations. This essay shows us how Neo is an epic hero since he had to fight through his journey of depression and backstabbing people for us readers to realize his massive amount of faith
