Nathan Hale's Exile

I would want to sit down and have dinner with Nathan Hale because all of the interesting espionage he was involved with during the Revolutionary War. He was sent to Yale College with his brother when he was fourteen years old, and graduated with first-class honors when he was eighteen. He was the first sergeant in the Connecticut militia, and I would ask him what that was like. Later on, he became a spy for George Washington, and volunteered for an intelligence-gathering mission in New York City. Unfortunately, the British captured him and had him hanged. I am curious about what was going through Hale’s mind the moment he was captured, and how he was captured from his point of view. There are a few accounts of the moments before his capture.
