This was done so that, they could continue to gain from their experience from what they learned. Brent and Sheila were to be married, and the pressure of all that planning was starting to mount on both their minds. Brent has been taking classes online to finish his BSN degree in Nursing. He wanted to get just one more class out of the way, before the autumn semester started. As Brent was at his computer reading his Anthropology, a class that Brent found very stressful, because of the short 6 week semester, and the incredible amount of time that it took him to do his work, was very overwhelming to him.
Brent had heard what she said but was trying to concentrate on his work. Sheila again stated in an even loader voice “the trash is getting full” just in case Brent could not hear her. Brent is thinking to himself, I know the trash is full, but I’m busy now, and I must prioritize what is most important for me to do at this moment, and taking out the trash is way down on my list. Sheila comes into the doorway of the kitchen and the room that Brent was in and again states that “the trash is getting full”.
