Narrative Essay On Middle School By Mason Tafoya
Middle School By Mason Tafoya My name is Rafe Khatchadorian. I am going to my new school, again. I’ve been expelled at 4 other schools in the state of Georgia. But my brother Adam has always been there with me. I mainly got expelled for pulling awesome pranks or ditching classes. That’s enough of why I’m going to a new school. I’m on my first day of school at Master Hills Middle School. I walk in with my earbuds and chewing gum past the principle. Then he hands me a rulebook, and said, “I’m going to let you off with a warning because you’re new to this school but don’t do that again.”
Is all that was going in my mind is we have some rules to break. When they called us down for the assembly we went down class by class, and they were talking about the B.L.I.G.H.T (Big.Learning.Important.Georgia.Horrible.Test). During the assembly I was just doodling in my notebook until I drew a life like zombie picture of Principle Wright. Then Vice Principal Monk took the notebook and then 5 minutes later I was in the Principal's office.

So I went to the store and bought a new one and came with operation Rules.Aren’t.For.Everyone R.A.F.E for short. I went and bought spray paint because Wright destroyed my book so I'm going to destroy

I'm Samantha Lahey, and I'm sitting in my regular chair in the principal's office. I always get out with an easy "yes" or "sorry Mr. Sharman I won't do it again," but today's a different story, and this time, I'll probably be expelled. And by the way, I like to be called Sam.…

“Skrt skrt!” The brand new 2003 minivan door slowly slid closed as my mom held my hand. My first day of kindergarten started walking through the rocky terrain up to Jacobson Elementary School on a hot, summer morning. Prepared with my lunch box full of goodies and plaid backpack weighing me down, I walked through the gates to the kindergarten playground. My mom helped me find the girl I met on “Meet the Teacher Night” and stayed close by as we played in the ant-infested, wood chip playground. Then suddenly, in the middle of making a wood chip pancake, the bell rang as if it was taunting me, I knew what was about to happen and so did my mother as I watched her face droop more and more as the bell rang it’s three chimes. My mom walked with me to the wall my teacher designated as the wall to line up on. My hand started to constrict around my mother’s as we approached the wall, as we got closer my knuckles began to turn white. My teacher, Mrs. Priest, announced it was time for the parents to leave.…

These past few years at Lionville Middle School have been some of the most memorable and exciting parts of my life. I came to Lionville Middle School from Shamona Creek Elementary. Shamona Creek elementary was much smaller than the gargantuan, new middle school. Also, there were so many more students and teachers. I expected the middle school to be filled to the brim with classrooms and I was correct. Some of my first memories here are quietly coming into the school and looking for my classroom. I did not even know where to go or how to get there. All around I saw kids getting to their classes right away, while I was stuck in the hallways. Fortunately, I saw a friend and followed him toward my new classroom. When I got my new locker, I had…

For the past two years, on the 1st Monday of the month I have participated in Site Council meetings at my high school along with other Associated Study Body (ASB) members, our principal, school administrators, parents, and teachers. Frequently it was brought up that minorities were not as involved in our school as majority groups. ASB has always been dominated by white students and as a Latina, I found it very intimidating when I joined.…

Middle school in Chicago was completely different from back home. One day as I was getting more familiar with the school, I stopped for a minute to take a look at my surroundings, I saw girls dressed in long girly dresses, others having breakfast in the cafeteria while preserving their legs closed and some absorbed in the illusion that they must look good all the time to be the girl they were taught to be.…

I got there and realized that my name wasn’t hung up on my door. I went and told the counselor and he brought me to the head counselor's office to fix it. They put my name up on my door and then I unpacked my stuff. While I was unpacking my roommate showed up and his name was Haden. Many students claim that middle school is exceedingly straightforward and easy, whereas others claim that middle school is complex and difficult. For those who succeed in school and claim school is easy say that because they work diligently. It’s not because they are naturally talented. The students who say middle school is difficult and flounder in their studies say school is difficult because they don’t work assiduously and they don’t have perseverance. In fact, there are several kids at school who are talented fail their classes. This is because they don’t have grit and they are also often too lazy to do their work. In my own case, I am considered as one of the naturally talented people. Many of my peers think that I receive good grades because I am talented. However, I know this is not the case. In reality, I have been recieving good grades because I have been working diligently. Most homework assignments in middle school require hard work, critical thinking, and perseverance(which means no procrastinating). There are also many conundrums and…

There was blood already on the ground and the knife was just being thrown away when I came around the corner. I was the only one around, but I didn’t chase after the guy who attacked him. I didn’t even see who it was. I just turned around and went a different way to my car. The kid was just lying there by the lockers.
