Nano And Lilo In The Ugly Duckling

In the movie, Nani and Lilo have a family expression, “Ohana means family, and family means no one gets left behind or forgotten.”, which is a belief that derives from their Hawaiian culture. This expression is mainly used throughout the movie by Lilo when odds are in not in her favor, such as when Nani tried to return Stitch back to the shelter. Nani also used the expression for the same reason when Lilo was being taken from her custody.
