My Writing Assignment

My writing assignment for my writing intensive is a Princess Project paper for my EDUC 121 class. After analyzing my writing assignment, there are key verbs in my assignment such as “select,” “build,” “produce,” “choose,” “justify,” “reinforce,” and “detail.” The possible structure of the essay would be a persuasive essay. This is because the writing prompt informs the writer to select six attributes from six different princesses. The six attributes would then build a princess and the writer must reinforce and justify why the new princess is strong. The essay would be persuading the reader that the six attributes that are chosen are considered to be strong attributes of a princess.

Ideas relating to the writing prompt for the Princess Project would be starting to research various types of princesses throughout literature, cartoons, movies, comic books, video games, etc. The company, Disney, is renowned for their plethora of princess characters, such as Snow White, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Anna / Elsa, Merida, etc. For cartoons, there are some princesses that I have knowledge of such as Azula from Avatar: The Last Airbender, Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time, Starfire from Teen Titans, Star Butterfly from Star Vs. The Forces of Evil, etc.

Ideas may be that in regards to the Disney princesses aforementioned above, attributes may be independent, headstrong, and tactful. For the cartoon princesses aforementioned above, some attributes may be merciless, tomboyish, adventurous, and
