My Observation: Bust Of A King
This paper is based on an art piece that described and analyzed of Egyptian art which is the largest collections in the world. Located, at the Brooklyn Museum, on the 3rd floor many pieces of Egyptian Art, has been collected such as sculpture, painting, pottery and papyri, it's such a treasure. During this visit, I was very excited to see those arts, but the art piece I chose is called Bust of a King. The objective of this homework is to bring an interest in this art that I will try to narrate this piece.
Name and Date of the Piece:
The collection of art I decided to use is called the Bust of a king. This sculpture was found in Egypt, during the Ptolemaic period, dating 285.246 B.C. E
Materials and Tools Used:
The materials of this sculpture are Limestone and contains some minerals, pyrite and stone.
A Detailed Description of My Observation:
Bust of the King. It is a beautiful sculpture from Egypt’s Ptolemaic rulers were of Macedonian Greek origin. When I look at the art fragment, and trying to understand the piece, it was very fascinating. However, when I am observing the color, the shapes, and another element of this piece was very enchanting and captivating. I believe, they are portraying the Archeology for Egyptians arts also the history of the ancient Egyptians. However, the Ancient Egyptian provided many images, concepts, and architectural forms. I also believe that it was very important to convey this through because a student needs to know every single detail about the Egyptian history, also the Egyptian arts. The Bust of a king is an especially true piece that very creative, which made of rocks, surrounded by a fine limestone.it is very important, powerful, and interesting because its show the values of the Egyptian arts and how to sculpt a big stone statue that could stand up by
