My Hero: Ilana Glazer

There are many heroes in the world that we look up to. When we think of heroes most of the time we think of a superhero with a cape on. But heroes can be more than just that they can be our family members like our parents because they care for us and we look up to them or our heroes can be a famous person like a actress or a singer. Like my hero, she's an actress and her name is Ilana Glazer she was born April 12, 1987. She’s my hero because we both believe that people should be be treated the same way and that children should be taught certain things. She believes gays should have the right to be married because their humans just like us and should have the same rights as us. Ilana always talks about people shouldn’t be judged based on their religion because no religion is wrong and we need to except people and their differences. She believes we shouldn’t be judged on our race because we are all human and shouldn’t be judged on the color of skin. Doing things like this can keep people from many job opportunities or other big things which makes it hard for them to succeed in life. A lot of kids watch Ilana’s show so by her having these things on her show she is teaching kids about what is going on in today's world. She talks about how our colleges should be free.There are a lot of smart people who deserve to go to college but don’t have enough money so they have to go all their lives without a high paying job. She also talks about how we need to cut our military spending because we can use the extra money for other important things. Ilana also talks about how Donald Trump shouldn't build the border because people come over here because they don’t have the things we have and are most of the time in need. Ilana Glazer is my hero because she has the same beliefs as me. She's a huge feminist, she's all for equality, and she educates children in today's world. I look up to her because there are not many people in the world like that, you don’t find people like that on an everyday
