Dear mme Ashli,
This year had many marking highlights and memories that I will surely treasure forever! This year in secondary was a great way to start off my middle school years! With awesome peers to do projects with and entertaining teachers, it was just a splendid way to start and end the school year. If I could, I would re-live my 7th grade!!! If that’s possible… I will not mention them all for I have too many, but there are three that were the most pleasured by me! (:
First off, I thought that going to Nordegg to present our play was an amazing experience. I will never ever have that same feeling as I did there. Just to give a brief description, it’s a place where kids grade 7-9 and 10-12 come and compete against other schools by presenting plays and we spend the week-end there. There was a large selection of prizes and I am proud to say that our school won one! Even though we should have won same of the other prizes in my opinion, I am glad we brought home at least one! Our prize was for the best ‘scenographie’ (I don’t know how to say it in English). Some of the other plays were fantastic, whereas some were not so much… Over all, I would definitely go there again if ever I had the opportunity.
Secondly, another amazing trip was going to the school ‘La Source’. I know it’s not a big thing, but it was still really nice to meet them and we had so much fun with them! For instance, one time when we went to their school, we spent the whole afternoon doing experiments and testing things out. It was so funny, when mme Marie-Claude showed them the order to do an experiment, they all looked at her as if she was crazy! They had obviously never learned to do a laboratory report before! Another time, we went to their school again and we did improvisation. It was really great because they don’t have superb ideas when they go in the play, but in the end it all fits together and they

I think the play And Then They Come for Me, by James Still was a little sad because they were in hiding for there live, and then there dad , brother got killed. It is put on by the Stageone Family Theatre. The context of the production is to persuade you about the Holocaust. The play is wanting to tell you about the Holocaust because it is a bad time of life.…

The homecoming musical performed this year, in the Shaw Center Auditorium, was Little Shop of Horrors. Being part of the crew, gave me the opportunity to see the play grow from rehearsing on an empty stage, to what was presented on opening night. However, I only had one opportunity to seat in the audience and see the entire play on Thursday, September 19th. Not knowing much about the play before that night, I was very surprised about everything that happened. Everyone I thought was important ended up dead, and I wasn’t expecting that. But I really liked it, because it had that surprise factor that made me jump off my seat a couple of times. Also, it was well structured, making it easy to understand what led to every situation and the characters gave live to every scene making the musical exciting and funny, which kept me interested until the end.…

On the evening of March 23, 2006 my boyfriend and I made a visit to Brenham, Texas to see a play entitled "The Heiress." Playing the role of an audience member for the night, we dressed nicely (even though we were traveling to one of the smallest towns in Texas), went to a nice dinner at On the Border, and went to the show. We participated as an audience member in that we had to travel to the performance and were able to take part in the play from a visually entertaining side versus an actual performing side.…

On March 3rd, I went to a play called Boys Will Be Boys in UNI’s Interpreters Theatre. I initially went because a friend of mine was in it and they asked me to attend. I was excited because i’ve only seen plays done by Theatre UNI, so it would be a nice change to see a smaller scale production. The theatre is located in Lang Hall. It was a very intimate theatre with little to no staging. The actors had to rely solely on a few props and their ability to act.…

Overall, I feel that attending this concert made me more aware of the diversity of style. I enjoyed the many different sounds that this orchestra performed. I also enjoyed the dramatic tension I and the vibe that was given in the pieces . But mostly what I enjoyed the most of this whole performance was the second to last piece that was played. The way that the saxophone was played opened my ears to a new sound that I never heard. For this being the first concert that I have attended I can honestly say that this was a great…

For my theatre venture, I visited the Gratz College Theater’s rendition of Beauty and the Beast on May 26th. When attending a musical based on a Disney film, the attendees will make critics based on the original movie. This particular production far exceeded any expectations I had going into the theater. Spanning from the directors, to the stage director, to the music played, it was a superb production. The movement and enthusiasm of the actors made the viewer feel like they were transported to that very small French town.…

Going back to my best year! Sophomore year was the year I had to get myself together and stop acting so amateur, it was the year I start acting like an adult. Therefore It was a great year for me. My sophomore year was not like other teenagers, I had many downfalls, but that didn't stop me from accomplishing my goals. Around this time I wanted to try a sport for the first time, so I tried out for the wrestling team, but they didn't work out so well. Sophomore year I didn't make any new friends, cause I don't like making new friends, it's just too much. My day one friends stayed the same, these are the people who have been through hell and back with me. I didn't learn how to drive my tenth grade year, because I was procrastinating. I was skipping school and getting into…
