Mr. Wilson: Their Eyes Were Watching God
Conor Conley Mrs. Schroeder 3rd Block 17 April 2024 In a small town, with too few homes but loved by all. The town of Forsyth was voiceless as a woman slept in the rain. There lived one man who was never quite as gleeful as the rest, Mr. Wilson. He had wrinkles like a paper ball with a nose the size of a bowling ball. Mr. Wilson was quite a tall man, around 6'3" with a gaunt frame. Mr. Wilson lived alone, no one visited him, and he infrequently came out of his house. But worst of all, Mr. Wilson was not an affable man. He abhorred the people. He was always resentful of everyone, no matter what they did. “Get off my lawn before I have to come out!” he would shriek at the kids from down the street as they laughed. Wilson's front porch decided to do so. His name was Thomas Riddle. He was a personable adolescent with midnight black hair. Thomas was an average height of about 5'11 with a British accent that stood out in the deep south of America. He had deep brown eyes that looked like leaves in autumn falling through the sky. He begged and pleaded with Mr. Wilson until he was finally accepted into Mr. Wilson's home. His house was forbidding with candles being the only light source, there were spider webs on the corner of every wall in the house and the smell of mildew and mold ran through his nose like a hand through hair. “Take a seat Tom, for I have a story that you will want to hear” Mr. Wilson says to Tom dejectedly. The story starts with a man named Cedrick Wilson. He was a tall young man with a sharp jawline and slicked black hair. His eyes were the color of the lightest seas that shone a blue
