Mr. Maloney: A Fictional Narrative
Once the investigators had finished eating up the lamb leg they continued to search her house for any other clues. They searched every single room of the house. Three hours later they started gathering their materials. “Well Mrs. Maloney it doesn’t looked like we have came to a conclusion on exactly what happened to your husband.” One of the police officers told her. “Oh, but you will still continue to search for answers right?” Mrs. Maloney questioned him. “It doesn’t look like we have come to much luck in this investigation. Goodnight now.” The police officer replied. The investigators and the police officer were now heading out of the house and getting into their cars and going away. Mrs. Maloney walked closed the front door and walked back into the living room. “Gosh, I don’t know what I would have done if I was caught.” Mrs. Maloney thought to …show more content…
The knock was now even louder. “I wonder who it could possibly be at a time like this.” She wondered. As she opened the door she recognized it was Sam from the grocery store. “Why Hello Sam! What brings you here?” Mrs. Maloney asked. “I just wanted to tell you I heard about what happened yesterday. I am so sorry this occurred. Will you be attending Mr. Maloney’s funeral this week?” Sam replied. “Yes I will.” She answered. “Goodbye now Mrs. Maloney.” Sam said. “Goodbye!” She replied. A few days past now and it was the day for Mr. Maloney’s funeral. Mrs. Maloney had been practicing what she was going to say for the past couple of days at the funeral so no one believes she had anything to do with her husband's death. Finally she found the perfect long black dress that had lace sleeves and some ruffles at the ends. “I will wear this one!” She

Domaszewicz telephoned Ms. Williams at her sister’s home. Ms. Williams said that Mr. Domaszewicz was angry because of the conversation with Mr. Farr. Apparently, the Farr telephone conversation had involved an allegation that Mr. Domaszewicz had told someone in Morwell that he was going to kill Mr. Farr by Christmas. However, Ms. Williams also suggested that the allegation may have been the other way around. Evidently, Ms. Williams had previously considered that Messrs. Domaszewicz and Farr had been on friendly terms. During this conversation Mr. Domaszewicz said he was working on his car and advised Jaidyn had fallen over and he (Domaszewicz) had cleaned him up. He also did not say anything about the fact that Jaidyn had been bleeding. As it was raining Ms. Williams inquired of Mr. Domaszewicz as to whether he needed more clothes for Jaidyn. His response was to the effect that it did not matter because he was going to have a shower (or give Jaidyn a shower) and then bring him back to Katie Leskie’s. During this conversation Ms. Williams said she heard her son’s voice on the phone. Evidently he said the word “dog” (at this time Jaidyn was able to say the words “Mum”, “Dad” and…

“Ugh!”, he grunts from how large the suitcase is. “Will you be able to carry that, Scottie?” she says, her face, worn from time, twists with concern for her son. “Of course”, he laughs. “Okay, if you’re sure.” She says as she opens the metal gate to the front yard. They slowly walk through the cracked pathway until they reach the steps to the porch. Beatrice opens the sturdy door with her keys. “Honey, I’m home!” Scottie yells into the empty living room. “Must you do that every time you come inside the house?” She says fondly. “Of course, I must.” He says as if she should already have known the answer. While they were talking, Alice and Jake, Scottie’s younger siblings, heard his announcement and excitedly ran out of their room and down the beige stairs. “Stop making all that racket!” she admonishes her children. “SCOTTIE!” they yell out enthusiastically. “You’re home!” Alice states, full of wonder that her big older brother is finally back where he belongs. “Well, it’s obvious that I’m home unless I’m an imposer who’s secretly an alien”, He jokes, winking at Alice. “I definitely didn’t miss your humor,” Jake lightheartedly says. “Oh, come on, I tell the best jokes”, Scottie says smiling. “Yeah right, in your dreams”, Jake jokingly teases. “Leave your brother alone for right now. He had a long trip and he’s probably exhausted.” Beatrice gently tells to her…
