Many people across America just assume that Papa John’s must be fine to eat since many others eat it, but what they don’t seem to care about is that the founder of the company is basically the real life version of Mr. Krabs. Papa John's was founded on October 2nd 1984. It was founded by John Schnatter. It’s headquarters are in Louisville, Kentucky(PapaJohns.com). There are many reasons why John Schnatter is the real life version of Mr. Krabs. One of the reasons that John Schnatter is the real life version of Mr. Krabs is that he doesn’t disclose his ingredients. In an article published by the New York Daily News, it is revealed that Papa John’s does not disclose their ingredients. This is ironic considering their slogan is, “better ingredients, better pizza.” It is easy to tell that this is a legitimate source because they are critical to Papa John’s throughout the whole article, and don’t praise any other company in it. This shows that John Schnatter is like Mr. Krabs because in Spongebob Squarepants, Mr. Krabs would never tell anyone his ingredients.
Another reason that John Schnatter is the real life version of Mr. Krabs is his treatment of workers. In an article published by Diversity Inc, it is revealed that Papa John’s lowered their workers hours, so they wouldn’t have to provide them with healthcare. They
Krabs is that he has won in a court case where he honestly should have lost. In an article by The Wire it is revealed that Papa John’s were sued by Pizza Hut over claims of false advertising with their slogan,”better ingredients, better pizza.” It is easy to tell that this is a reliable source because they criticize Papa John’s, and they don’t praise Pizza Hut. This can be compared to the episode in Spongebob Squarepants where Mr. Krabs was sued by his competition, Plankton. Plankton logically should’ve won this case because he hurt himself on a wet floor where there was no wet floor
