Motivation is important for student success because that is what keeps us going in our quest for greater knowledge. If somebody had to sit for 8 hours a day and read a stack of books in front of him or her every day, but was not told which book to read, or why they had to read them it would not make a lot of sense. The person who had to read the books maybe would look at the titles and perhaps even read one of them, but boredom would set in. That is where motivation comes in.…

According to Palm Beach Community College (PBBC, 2008),they recommend that student’s study should have at least three hours outof class for every hour spent in class. They also said that a student must havea special place to study with plenty of room to work. And students should notbe cramped. A desk and straight-backedchair is usually best. “ Don't get too comfortable--a bed is a place to sleep, notto study” as what they said. A student must have everything close at hand(book, pencils, paper, coffee, dictionary, computer, calculator, tape recorder, etc.) before starting to study. Students are not suggested to spend on time jumping up and down to get things. Sigmund Freud, a Jewish Austrian neurologist that developed a wonderful theory in 1915 that stated all behavior is motivated and that the primary purpose of someone’s behavior was to serve the satisfaction of needs. This serves to be true in two or more situations in the common workplace. For instance, if company morale is low, there is a very slim chance that the company as a whole will be doing well. People are driven by their need to feel satisfied and wanted at the same time. Therefore, when others exhibit behavior that is non-favorable, it is most likely due to their lack of being satisfied. Behavior can either be motivated in a positive and negative direction.…

I developed this habit because I can’t study in a place that is really noisy. I’m a father with three kids and a wife, and I work all day until 4:00 or 5:00pm. That’s mean that I don’t have enough time to study. So, I have to wait until everybody fall to sleep at 8:30 or maybe 9:30PM. I used to go to a quiet place at my favorite room, and start studding.…
