A Comparison of the Most-Affordable Apartments

On a fine day in February, I woke up to a text message from my aunt. In this message, she explained she wanted me to branch out of my comfort zone in Austin and research my other options elsewhere. In other words, she was giving me a push to look for other places to attend school or work in. My mom suggested looking for apartments in South Austin where my sister, mom, and I could live. They could work in San Antonio, even though it was far, and I could go to Texas State University (TXST) or University of Texas at Austin (UT.) If I wanted to find an affordable

Along with rent each month, came the access to many amenities within the apartment complex. Among my favorites were a laundry facility, covered parking and carports, a rec room, two tennis courts, high-speed internet access, and a movie theater on …show more content…

Exhibit 3 tells us the purchase and operating comparables. These comparables give us an easier way to compare purchase and operating variables among the four properties. However, since some of the properties are in square footage and others are in total units, this information is not helpful in comparing all four properties at once. 900 Stony Walk brings in the most average monthly rents with $145,166.67, and The Fowler Building brings in the least average monthly rents with $106,250.00.…

Louis. My parents are very against me leaving home for college and the college I really want to go to is Webster University, which is in St Louis. My project was an online flyer that I sent to my parents to try to convince them to let me go. My parents don’t believe it is safe in St. Louis so I put in the flyer quote about how safe the school is. The flyer also talks about how amazing their dance program, which is what I want to major in. went to Webster's website and found quotes about the safety of the school. "The Department of Public Safety is committed to providing a safe and secure environment by consistently seeking and finding ways to promote, preserve, and deliver a feeling of security, safety, and quality of service to the campus, its employees, students and to the community to which it serves"(Webster University). With the use of the point of view from the Department of Public Safety I was able to show my parents that Webster is a safe place for me to go to college. Also with the points of view of others I was able to show my parents that I am responsible enough to live on my own. I Interview my older sister Courtney, who is a freshmen at UMKC and lives in an apartment, about if she thought I was responsible enough to leave home and go to college in St. Louis. “She is also responsible because whenever Abbie would miss dance rehearsal she would always come to…

I’ve lived in the same neighborhood for as long as I can remember. I’ve gone to school with the same peers. I’ve been blessed enough to not have dealt with much turmoil in my life. I live with my supporting mother who has always been around to drop everything she’s doing to come to my aid. With all this in mind, you could come to the conclusion that I have not had to deal with a lot of change in my life nor have I ever welcomed it. So in my sophomore year when I was invited to participate in a summer program which entailed me leaving home for six weeks, me nor my mother were excited about the opportunity. I did not know that the program, called the Emory Pipeline Collaborative Program, would completely change my outlook on life and my identity…

I have had interactions with family members—one of which includes my mother—in regards to my college career. Since I have taken time off from school to do things like get a job to eat and pay rent, I have put college in the background for a number of years. Thus, I have had uncomfortable conversations about why I have not finished school. This conversation took place leading to the time of entering the BASS program here at CSU Stanislaus. I remember getting upset, not sure at myself or my family members, because I was dangerously approaching the age of thirty and did not have a college degree. It was most difficult getting compared to other uncles and cousins in my family who are school teachers, school administrators, doctors, pharmacist,…
