Monologue On Brad Pitt's Overrated
Brad Pitt, he’s overrated
His shirts are surely perforated
He can’t even play dead
I can’t think of a good movie he lead

He uses moisturizer, that’s for sure
I just found out that it’s just to allure
That would explain why his wife left
He was just not that deft

Oceans 18 will surely be great
All of five feet he is in height
Don’t worry though, he can still act
And his checks he’ll still transact

1.I believe what makes this film so great is the plot of the film combined with the actors ability to give life to the story. Gary Cooper who plays Kane in the film, is an upstanding and ethically good man. Since he demonstrates these characteristics in the film, he makes a believable Marshall. Another reason why this film is so great, is because of the hero premise. I believe this causes the "unsung hero" to resonate with the audience's feelings. This is shown at the very end of the film after the Marshall had confronted the criminals. Even though Kane had stopped Miller, no one in the town cheers or celebrates. They kinda of just accept it as it is and just move on without giving their thanks to the Marshall.…

When conducting an interview for the American Film Institute, actor Jeff Bridges, discussing 1941's Citizen Kane, said its director was "twenty-five years old, and he didn't know what he couldn't do...and Greg Toland gave him all the confidence in the world (2011, 0:28 sec.). Bridges was of course talking about the late, great Orson Welles. But who was Greg Toland? Well known in Hollywood at the time, Toland was a longtime cinematographer who had not only won an Academy Award for 1939's Wuthering Heights, but more importantly, had a unique unorthodox style and "was a devoted rebel against the conventions and rituals of big studio filmmaking" (Carringer, 1982, pp. 652-653). Needless to say, when the rookie filmmaker and veteran cameraman got together, movie magic was in the air. Indeed, their collaboration would result in a cinematic spectacle…

Marshall McLuhan said, “All media exist to invest our lives with artificial perceptions and arbitrary values”. Yet the media is very important in how so many people get to know the world around them. For example, when the lower and middle class do not interact with the upper class, it is impossible for them to understand about the upper class. The only way most of the other classes understand the upper class is through media portrayal. Media is one of the biggest networks in the world at the present day. It has been the significant part of the human life. Everyone is directly involved in and spends so many of his or her waking hours with some form of the media. Television, radio, newspaper, books, internet & social network…
