Minerva Character Analysis

Minerva is one of the characters that has been trapped not becuase of a physical barrior by because of her situation. She is trapped because she has had kids with no husband/boyfriend that is there to help her with her resoponsibility toward her kids. She is very unhappy and unable to do anything for herslef and must deal with the fact that (a least for a while) she will be confined to her kids and their lifes. One quote that ilistraits this well is when the author says, “Minerva cries because her luck is unlucky. Every night and every day.” Minerva is stuck in stagnation because of her kids because she has no stable partner and because she is so young so in turn she is unable get a good job or persue a high education.
