As Humans we come with different personalities and behaviors that make as different. It is very important to understand human behaviors. Knowing them can help in finding the correct decision. Also, having a deep understanding of behaviors can help us to motivated and increase productivity amount are peers and staffs. Not being able to understand human behaviors can reduce motivation and productivity.
Positive Reinforcement is a very influential and effective instrument that help shape and change behavior with the goal to increase motivation. Positive Reinforcement works by offering an encouraging element to the person once the desired behavior is displayed, making the behavior more likely

This could be one of the most effective way to produce a behavioral change. This can also come with disadvantage to the authority figure if abuse. Punishment, can be used in eliminating behaviors that cause underperformance. For instance, a tech that is not performing the repair fast enough, can be punish by changing their payment style from an hourly to a flat-rate. The flat-rate system works by paying a predetermine amount per job. For example, a brake job that pays one hour, takes the tech two hours the tech will be only be for one hour. Extinction works by removing a reinforcement behavior to eliminate a problem. At first glance the extinction procedure looks to me like a punishment, however it allows authority figure to eradicated a concern without being the bad guy. For instance, if an employed keeps coming late by 15 minutes and they haven’t seen any damage in they paycheck; As you begin deducting time from their pay check the employee most likely will be on time.
In conclusion, I believe that behavioral control technique can be very useful if use correctly. Conversely, if abuse they can become useless. Punishment is the most used of the behavioral control technique in our society. Therefore, in some occasion can be over used. The best way is to fallow punishment with fixing the main
