Mexico's geography
Geography are the physical features of the earth's atmosphere as it affects human activity, land use , and resources. Mexico is a very large country .This country is divided into six different tourist regions. It is the 3rd largest in latin america. Mexico is full of multiple areas of land and bodies of water. The geography of mexico is also diverse in its climate, landforms, natural resources, and agriculture.
The climate in the southern part of the united states is very similar to those in mexico. The altitude also affects the determining climate. Mexico is isolated by coastal plains.At the southern tip of mexico is the yucatan peninsula and the isthmus of tehuantepec(kindersly 79).”The sierra madre occidental mountain rises gently southward from the rio grande river”(kindersley 77). This mountain also rises to the south of the balsas basin. Landforms in this region varies from tropical rainforest , volcanoes , and even to continental plates.Edward parker tells us how mexico took its shape due to the continental drift(12):” Mexico lies on two continental plates that collide with each other which can create many geographical features to the region of mexico.These plates are the north american plate and the cocos plate”(parker 12).As a result these plates collided with each other to form mexico. A major lake in mexico was lake texcoco.this area was drained so the region could expand(“ conrad 23”). Mexico is also known for its sinkhole.The zacaton sinkhole was attracted by many viewers in mexico( land and resources).This lake is highly mineralized and has a sulfurous odor. some of these resources are silver, gold, mercury, iron , copper , and zinc. These resources were discovered along the gulf coast inland , or in the gulf of mexico. Oil is one of mexico's main exports. Petroleum has become the 6th largest in the world. Mexico has sold over 10% of oil and natural gases that they should be earning from the exports. Silver is used for jewelry , medical supplies , and electronics , lead is mainly used for making pigments , batteries , bullets, and it also plays a role in making rubber and oil refining. Zinc was mined to protect against erosion , for grass , and pints.last but not least is copper which are your average day coins , which can be combined with brass and bronze occasionally . Even though mexico is rich in its resources economic instability has kept the population down.
The agriculture in mexico consist of 3 different types of farming; subsistence farming , commercial agriculture , and irrigated agriculture. Mexico
The climates in mexico varies due to its topography and elevation above sea level.also the landforms throughout the region affected how mexico took its shape and how it came to be. The natural resources in this country made mexico valuable for trading with other countries throughout the world. Now that we have seen how mexico is different in its climate , landforms , and natural resources we've proven how it has taken shape to be the country it is

    They go crazy when it comes to food. Mexican food is usually spicy. They like to use chili, lime, salt and garlic. Most mexican meals are served with tortillas. Now, the tacos that are made in mexico and often served in america are made with lots of different meats. Some examples of popular tacos in mexico are: tacos de pastor, ( thin pork seasoned with adobo and is often served with pineapple). Tacos de tripita are tripe tacos.
