Meryl Streep
Meryl Streep-Acting Review

In my eyes, Meryl Streep is one of the best actresses out there. I believe that she puts her heart and soul out to acting. She does an outstanding performance every time. In both Silkwood she did an amazing job being a women who in the beginning doesn’t seem like she cares about much, and in the end wanting to help her fellow employees out and not get them hurt. I was really surprised when I first watched this movie because in the beginning of Silkwood, you see her driving a car on a lonely road and you don’t think much of it. I was really surprised by Meryl’s acting and it made the movie ten times better. In the beginning of the movie, she seemed like a lady who didn’t really care about much but as the movie went on you realize that the character has a big heart and cares about the peoples safety. I don’t believe that if some other actress played Karen, the movie would be as good as it was. Meryl seemed to have put a lot of time into her character and she did a fantastic job with it.
In Sophie’s choice, I think Meryl did really good job acting like a Polish girl that survived the holocaust. She did the accent so well; she even had me thinking she was actually Polish. In the beginning of the movie, it seemed like the movie was about Stingo but as it goes on, you realize that it’s about Sophie. Meryl did a really great job acting as a beautiful Polish woman who went through so much in her past. With what the character went through, it seemed as Meryl was living her part. There was so many different emotions coming from her, it was fantastic. She is a gorgeous actress who has so much passion towards acting, and you can see this all just by watching these two movies. Meryl Streep showed so much energy in both films. When she had to show sadness, she did it. When she had to be jumping out of joy, she did it. Anything that her character was supposed to be feeling, she expressed it in a way that I don’t think anyone could have done it

Meryl Lee certainly is an interesting character. She has her ups and her downs, and although she might not be the most intimidating person, she definitely knows how to get what she wants. “I hadn’t seen at all what Meryl Lee was doing on Valentine's Day, while we were sipping cokes at the lunch counter…

    Carrie Movie Analysis

Carrie’s role makes the people wonder where is Carries other family or child services when needed. Moretz said to act in the movie just as the Carrie in Stephen King’s book does. Margaret (Julianna Moore) she plays the crazy mother, whom never wanted a child punishes Carrie in every way she can for imagined sins. The characters in Carrie are good but Carrie seems to take away some of the good pieces wrote in Stephen King’s book. The movie has good scenes and sound effects but it seem as something is missing from the original version. Casting for Carrie is great and the actors do not let their audience down, however it seems as if you just can’t get into the movie if you have read Stephen King’s book. This version of Carrie was not scary at all and did not live up to the horror like Stephen King wrote. As one keeps watching Carrie it gets uninteresting even though it’s good how it depicts on teen bullying that’s happening today. The movie has a great aspect for teens who can relate to being bullied and does not have any home family support, which makes them lash…

    The Longest Ride Analysis

For a romantic movie to be as amazing as this one, the two main role need to have chemistry between them. The two leads in this particular movie do have chemisty between them. There is a scene in the movie where Luke was teaching Sophia how to ride, this scene really exebited the chemisty between the two. Personaly, my favorite charator in this movie is Luke Collins (see figure3). Scott Eastwood plays Luke in the movie and he does a fantastic job of doing so. Scott has the “physicality to do the bull riding and the physicality to work on a farm, but to also have the charm” (Lamoureux). Do not get me wrong I do love the actress that plays the role of Sophia. Britt Roberson as Sophia does a amazing job of protraying a New Jersy girl, goal-orinted, and at the same time being very likeable. When the two characters are put together the chemistry is created and it is…

One great thing I adore about Zoe Saldana is her acting. Zoe makes my mouth water, heart throb, and gives me goose bumps when I see her on the screen. I remember the first time I saw her on the screen. It was in 2002 when my older cousin took me to the theater to watch Drumline. When Zoe Saldana came on the screen I fell in love. I never knew who she was at the time but she was my little kid crush. She played as a dance major. When she would dance I smiled so wide. Zoe is a great actress. She always does great on her roles. She chooses a role that challenges her. When she’s on set she takes in the character and becomes the character. Saldana makes the character believable. Another movie she dominated was Columbiana. In that movie she was like a Spanish Angelina Jolie. I watched that movies like ten times. The…

Agent F-7124, code name: Westminster. To those of you who were not involved with German Military Intelligence during World War II, you may know Agent F-7124 as Coco Chanel. Chanel has been one of the top names in high end fashion for almost one hundred years but the woman behind the brand has a shocking past that would make any customer think twice before a purchase. Chanel herself once said during the German Occupation of France, “For a woman betrayal has no sense—one cannot betray one’s passions1.” Chanel held this statement true through three affairs with Nazi officers during World War II, an affair with a French textile heir who introduced her to an English aristocrat who conveniently funded her first two boutiques in Paris2. In short, Chanel slept her way to the top of the fashion industry. Nonetheless, in 1926 the October issue of American Vogue Magazine credits Chanel with standardizing fashion in a caption under her signature black dress, “Here is a Ford signed Chanel—the frock that all the world will wear.”3 And they did; by 1935 Chanel was selling 28,000 designs worldwide.4…
