Marshall Metro High School Case Study

Marshall Metro High School, one of 1,247 failing schools nationwide that received federal funding to improve, is trying to find ways to improve attendance and standardized test scores (Banchero, 2011, as cited in Kinicki & Williams, 2013). To improve attendance employees at Marshall Metro High School had begun to call students who did not show up on a regular basis, but eventually noticed it was not producing their expected outcome since most of them never even showed up after being called (Banchero, 2011, as cited in Kinicki & Williams, 2013).
