Marine Biology

Marine biology I would be an extremely happy man if I could do what I love for the rest of my life.With the many issues going on in our waters such as overfishing, pollution, and global warming. Marine biologists work hard day in and out to put an end to these terrible things that occur more often that one thinks. Did u know Water covers the 71 percent of the earth. As a kid must of my summers were spent at my family's lake house and I loved every minute of it. I saw a lot of terrible things such as a mass die off in fish, algae/seaweeds taking over the lake, and animals looking for food which their wasn't a lot of.
But I never could do anything to help prevent these things from happening. I looked into some careers I could do and
Vice did a great documentary on overfishing I highly recommend watching. Vice touched on some very big points I do not believe many people know. Vice states “that Several years ago scientists began predicting that the world's seafood supply would collapse completely by the year 2050”. Just another reason why I would like to be a marine biologist to help this global crisis be put to an end. My second problem that I would want to be a marine biologist is the pollution that is affecting oceans. Ocean pollution as defined by www.conserve-energy-future.com says Oceans are the largest water bodies on the planet Earth. Over the last few decades, surplus human activities have severely affected the marine life on the Earth’s oceans. Ocean pollution, also known as marine pollution, is the spreading of harmful substances such as oil, plastic, industrial and agricultural waste and chemical particles into the ocean. On April 20, 2010 a bp oil ship had lost tons of its gasoline in the Gulf of Mexico. Marine biologists rushed out to serve the scene seeing thousands of dead fish and marine animals such as birds, and amphibians. The marine biologists didn't have much time to work with
