Marilyn Monroe was not born into a famous life. It was at her job she got known. This was were her fame was created. Her first job was in a factory were military drones were made. It was there the photographer Davis Conover who was sent by the U.S. Army Air First Motion Picture Unit to take pictures of morale-boosting pictures of female workers. He was in stunned, amazed and in shock of her beauty and decided to ask her for the favor of being in the pictures. This is when she changed and revealed her name from Norma Jeane Mortenson to Marilyn Monroe. After this she decided to take acting lessons in New York and take each and every one of the
Marilyn Monroe also acted in comedy films. Comedy films such as “Bus Stop” and another is “ How To Marry A Millionaire ”. Marilyn Monroe was and to this day is still a woman figure for the United States History. She is one of the most recognized and memorable persons in the world for so many reasons. For example, one: Marilyn helped to make specific things more socially acceptable like the way they should be. By certain things this means looks on woman. She believed woman who were overweight or a little chubbier didn’t have to look as skinny as a “ stick” to be good looking or attractive. With this she made it socially acceptable and out to the people that woman were fine if thick or thin . Marilyn was born on the year of 1926, meaning she was a child presence during the years of The Great Depression. Marilyn was also very involved in politics.
