Marilyn Monroe Today in my essay I'm going to talk about Marilyn Monroe. She was a very Famous American actress and model. She is most famous for playing "dumb blonde" characters. Became the fastest rising star of 1952. She was the most promising female newcomer of 1952. Also In 1953, became the Sweetheart of the month in a magazine. In 1956, she was nominated for BAFTA as the best foreign actress for The Seven Year Itch. Marilyn was nominated for Golden Globe in 1956 as best motion picture actress in Comedy or Musical for Bus Stop. In 1962, went to Star on the Hollywood walk of Fame, Hollywood Blvd. She got ranked as the sixth greatest female star of all time in 1999. All together Marilyn Monroe is a very kind, beautiful, and successful actress and model. I admire her because I like modeling and she is a good role model.
