Outback Steakhouse originated in Tampa, Florida in 1988. It is owned by Bloomin’ Brands which also owns and operates other restaurants including Bonefish, Flemming’s Prime Steakhouse & Win Bar, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, and Roy’s Restaurant. Outback Steakhouse is an Australian themed steakhouse restaurant with plenty of different steaks to choose from including sirloins, filets, ribeyes, New York strips, porterhouse, and prime rib. Danielle Moore is currently (as of September 23rd,2014), the front of house manager at the Outback Steakhouse off Vineland Ave near I-drive in Orlando, FL. She started at the Outback Steakhouse off Vineland Ave in 2007 as a host and worked her way up the ladder to takeaway, serving, bartending, and then keying. Keying is when an hourly employee will manage for a night and greet tables and deal with any issues in the restaurant. She keyed at her Outback Steakhouse for six months and then started her manager in training (MIT) in November of 2013. After she was finished, she traveled as a manager to different Outback Steakhouses in the Orlando region including the Altamonte Outback Steakhouse and also at her home store off Vineland Ave. She started working at the Outback Steakhouse on Lake Underhill Road on May 30th of this year and then just got transferred back to her home store off Vineland Road. Enrique Garcia started with the company twelve years ago on May 20th, 2002. He started as a line cook in the kitchen for about a year before he worked his way up to be a kitchen manager for three years. After working as a kitchen manager he then became a front of house manager and managed for four years. Finally, after the four years, he became a proprietor, or managing partner, at the Oviedo Outback Steakhouse. He did not stay too long with the Oviedo store before becoming the managing partner of the Lake Underhill Road
