Macbeth Good Vs Evil

Evil is a word that comes to mind when you think of a villain in some stories. A villain is defined as a cruelly malicious person who is involved in or devoted to wickedness or crime. The main character in the play Macbeth, is definitely one whom many would think of as a villain. Macbeth begins the play as a very noble man and soon becomes someone very evil. The play Macbeth is a very controversial event of good versus evil. In the beginning, the character Macbeth is someone of courage. He is always putting his people before him, he begins overcoming huge battles, and is a very trustworthy thane. All love him as their leader and they have him promoted to an even higher position. (Act 1 scene 5) All was good in the kingdom and everyone is happy. Things begin to change the day when the witches talk to Macbeth about his future. Telling him all of the things that will come upon him as time goes on. They began with telling him he would become King, this intrigued him and made him think about what it would be like to rule Scotland.
He talked it over with Lady Macbeth and she said the only way to reach this top position was to take down King Duncan; she wanted Macbeth to murder the king. Macbeth faces the fact that there is no reason to kill the king other than his own ambition. Macbeth decides he does not want to go through with the murder. In reaction to this decision, Lady Macbeth tells him that he is a coward and he is not a man if he does not murder the King. (Act 1 scene 7) Macbeth ultimately decides to kill the king. In this process, he did not want the soldiers guarding the King’s room to tell others that Macbeth was the murderer so along with the king, he kills the two guards. This is the point in the play when many begin to think Macbeth has changed for the
