Macbeth And Power Essay

Macbeth by William Shakespeare is a play about how ultimate power can lead to poor choices and a bad character. Shakespeare also wanted people to know that all tyrants are eventually overthrown by the good people of their state. Macbeth should be used to show the people that if they ever feel oppressed by the government, there will be someone to end their reign of terror. There will be some way to remove the tyrant from power and replace them with a person that is for the people. Dreadful people will be put in power sometime in a nation’s history and it is the job of the people to make sure it doesn't become permanent.
