Lilith-Personal Narrative
I watched as my cousins sparred in the dojo. They were practicing karate, and it looked like Lilith had the upper hand. Lilith is the youngest of all of my uncles children, but was the most talented. Lilith was going against Mike who is the middle child. Rebecca is the oldest, and she is going to inherit the family dojo chain that stretches across the country. I have lived here since my mother's death which happen when I was 7. Haruhi is my little sister who stayed back in Japan with our father. I was snapped out of my thoughts when my name was called by my Uncle George. My uncle is a middle aged man who has muscles on top of his muscles. He was about 6 feet tall and towered over my 5 foot frame. He lead me to his office that held extra equipment that wouldn't fit in the dojo closet. Sitting in his big black chair he motioned for me to sit in the …show more content…
Looking back at my family I waved goodbye before boarding the plane. I was in first class, and it looked almost empty. The flight was uneventful. The weather was nice and i was drove to the pink academy by a cab.

I walked around the school and checked room trying to find my sister to surprise her.

“This place has four library rooms. You'd think one of them would be quiet.” I began as I closed the door to the 4th library I had checked

‘How are things in heaven, mom? I can't believe it's been ten years already.’ I thought as I walked up a flight of stairs covered in red carpet. ‘I'm beginning to think that rich kids only come to school to have a good time.’ I soon reached a pair white of white double doors that had golden handles. Turning the knobs i pushed open the door only to get a face full of rose petals.

“Welcome!” 6 male and 1 female voices’ rang out. 6 male dressed in the blue male uniform stood in the room. 1 female was also dressed in the male uniform and i soon recognized her.

“HARUHI FUJIOKA WHY ARE YOU IN A HOST CLUB!” I

There’s a certain moment in my life that really stands out to me. It was the day I went to Colorado. The day got out to an excellent start. It was my first time getting on a plane. My grandmother had told me the different ways the Navy and Air force take off. Our pilot was definitely in the Navy before because he took off going up as soon as he could, that was my favorite part of the flight. I was also thrilled that we were high up in the sky. Everything below was so tiny and we were above the clouds.…

Language has played a big role in making my life successful. As senior year was ending I had a major life changing decision. I was unsure whether to pursue my passion of baseball in California, or to hang up my cleats for the last time on a high note. Although this was not a life or death decision, It was still a decision that was still near and dear to my heart. After going to several people for help and many sleepless nights, I still felt helpless. I finally came to the conclusion after hearing "The Babe" in the movie Sandlot tell Benny Rodriguez, "Everybody gets one chance to do something great. Most people never take the chance, either because they're too scared, or they don't recognize it when it spits on their shoes." that’s when I decide…

We just got off the plane and we are in Atlanta, Georgia. We came from Ohio and it was about an hour and a half to Atlanta. Atlanta is the biggest airport in the U.S.A. They had a big food court and a lot of shops to shop in. We were heading to gat D. We had to take the train, but we had to stop at A, B, C, and then finally, D. We had to go through security and that was the worst part. When we finally got finished with security we waited at our gate. After we got on the plane we took our seats then started to fly. I loved it when it was going up in the air because it felt like it was a roller coaster and you had that feeling like your belly is hollow. My sister and I watched the movie Pitch Perfect 2. It took about 312hours to get there but it…

One second the rain would be pouring down with such force that you could not see a foot in front of you, and the roads were flooded up to your knees, and the next it was sunny and sticky. The humidity was so high that you constantly felt damp, and your hair frizzed the second you walked outside, but nonetheless it was a beautiful place to see. I walked in the door to stacks of suitcases and tons of kids just like me playing games and getting to know each other. They handed me my lanyard, key, and name tag, and it was time to say goodbye to my parents until the week was over. I was no longer excited , but now apprehensive and wondering if it was too late to back out. I knew it was, and finally said goodbye retreating to my assigned table. There were only two other kids sitting at my table when I arrived but they already seemed to be best friends. By the end of the night I was exhausted, but reeling with excitement for the adventures I would have with my new friends. I texted my mom to say goodnight, and set my alarm for five the next…

"Eve 's Diary" is a satirical account of the days in the Garden of Eden. Twain recounts the well-known tale of Genesis through a series of journal entries written by Adam and Eve; these personal accounts make for an entertaining and thought-provoking read. Twain 's personifications of gender stereotypes are easily identified but lead the reader into a further exploration of Twain 's deeper purpose. Twain 's writing style explicates the paradoxical relationship between men and women. Furthermore, Adam and Eve 's conflicting perspectives within the journal entries provide an illustration of their magnetic reliance on one another, despite their polar differences.…
