Lidderm Case Reports
DOI: 9/24/2004. The patient is a 73-year-old female housekeeper who sustained a work-related injury to her right shoulder when the door of the glass shower she was washing struck her.
Based on the progress report dated 03/02/16, the patient presents for ongoing evaluation of her right shoulder pain. She states that she has been going to acupuncture and has had 4 sessions. It is helping significantly decrease her pain, relax her muscles, and she is able to avoid needing pain medications. Unfortunately, the Lidoderm patches were denied. She has a difficult time taking anti-inflammatories Motrin and aspirin because of stomach upset, nausea, and vomiting. She has not tried Flector patch to her knowledge. She was provided a sample on this visit.
