Les Brown Reflection
Les Brown is such an amazing person. He speaks with his heart! He has so much belief and faith that’s kept him going throughout life. That’s what makes people successful through their struggle they have to go through in order to get where they want to be. I am empowered by this video. I keep watching and listening to them over and over again. Les Brown is so inspiring. I enjoy listening to Les Brown. In fact, I know there are many times where I catch myself thinking of his many quotes. "No matter how hard it is or how hard it gets I'm going to make it.” What I learn from this video is that we should NEVER GIVE UP no matter what we do because if one person can do it so can another. And I guess I should start taking some action because without action there …show more content…
Les Brown motivated me and helped me see something I could not see for myself. My favorite part race is not in his message we all endure the same struggle. As he quoted, "It's possible, regardless of where I am, that things can get better for me.” This quote hit me like a sledgehammer, great words. What I got from this quote is that it is possible, life is not easy it takes time but it will all come together sooner than later. I have faith and believe that we can make it happen, we got to keep pushing and moving on because it is possible. Another thing he mentioned, "When you shoot for the moon and you come up short, you still end up among the stars.” I think what Les Brown trying to say is as long as you try to do your very best that is all that matters. For instance, you give something your best shot and even if it fails at least you tried and that gives you a lot of credit. I believe it is all about trying and working hard towards to that goal. This information in the video can help me achieve my goals. It will help me stay focused and motivated to work hard towards my goals in life. Les Brown made me realized that anything is possible this is life and hard work is required in order to achieve my goals and

Personal involvement and interest was certainly indicated by the speaker by bringing up relevant past experiences throughout the entire lecture. His sentences were clear but if he felt as though they were not, Lee would go back and explain what he meant. His diction also expressed passion and seriousness because he occasionally used…

The effect that was made in the students facing these problems in their schools was very terrifying, some of them were in a point of being embarrassed of their heritage. If you didn’t recognize that quote, it was from the famous Shia LaBeouf video. I know that my reenactment was hilarious, but I think there was a real message in that quote that I want you to think about. Think of something you want to do and think about the quote “just do it!”. People always say that they will do it tomorrow or soon, but I am talking about doing it now. With me being elected, I promise that I will make change in our chapter. One of my ideas includes changing our Stand UP, since it is hard to relate to those who are in poverty and homeless. We can change our Stand UP cause to working…

What I like most in this video is the use of pathos through the photos of the people who died from the car accident and the question at the end, “Was the message that important?”, because these are the scene that catches my attention and touched my feelings. I find it easier to convey the message that texting can wait because lives are more important. What I dislike about this video is that it failed to establish the trustworthiness of the people who did this video because it lacks information about them and how are they connected to the…

When my friend stated that her major is biology and that she wanted to become a part of the medical field the doctor responded, “Hhmm, it’s a different world these days.” The doctor’s shady statement stuck out to me because it just goes to show the mindset that some people still have towards blacks in terms of their desire to want to do great things in life. Watching and noting Julian’s success reminded me that there will always be someone who will tell you or think that you are incapable of doing…
