Leaving Paradise Analysis
Personal Response I think Leaving Paradise is a good book. I thought that Caleb should have given Maggie a chance, and Maggie gave him a chance. I thought it was good that Maggie and Caleb had grown a good friendship as time had gone by. I hope to read the rest of the books in this series.

Plot
When this book had started, Caleb had flashed back to the accident. Caleb had been driving drunk and hit Maggie. He was sent to the Detention Center Of Corrections, for driving under age and a hit and run. Maggie had to go into physical therapy for her leg. Therapy was helping ,but she was unable to put pressure on it. When school was gonna start up again, Maggie did not want to go back, she didn't want people to she her limp, or the scrapes on her leg. She is very self conscious about herself. When she first got her job she was happy. Once a few weeks went by she had learned that Caleb will start working there as well. Maggie started to be closer with him. Caleb
Caleb used to be a top guy at school, he had messed up and drove drunk. He wounded up in the DOC for drunk driving and a hit and run. He was related early on the terms that he completes community service. During his community service he began to reconnect with Maggie. When Caleb wanted to see her leg and, Maggie would not let him. He had felt she would never fully trust him. He made a decision to leave home, he felt he wa the root of family problems.

Setting
This book took place in a small town called Paradise, in modern time. This could possibly be relatable to people who live in a small town. You mess up on something like Caleb had done and then the whole town judges you for it. This setting is also important because some teen in a small town may think nothing bad will happen and I will not get caught. Then they make a dumb mistake, and can hurt others in the process.

I liked Little Paradise because it gave me a good insight of what it must have been like to be a Chinese-Australian during World War 2. It was fascinating that the author based Little Paradise on her mother’s experiences during World War 2. It really opens your eye to Chinese culture and family life and the strict rule some families have to live by. There were a few parts of the book that I did not like for example: the end was not satisfying. It did not tie up all the loose ends, but overall Little Paradise was an enjoyable and informative read.…

Led Zeppelin is considered to be one of the greatest rock and roll bands of the 20th century. Their fourth studio album produced a song that many consider an all-time classic called “Stairway to Heaven.” The song is about eight minutes long and is split into several sections, each providing a different rhythm, tempo and feel. The song relies mostly on the instrument of guitar; however, unlike most other rock songs, it includes both electric guitar and the softer acoustic guitar in the first half. “Stairway to Heaven” is a song that appears to have a little bit of everything that one would look for in music. Although it is greatly varied with many tempos and rhythms, it still produces a sound that people find enjoyable and among the most popular.…
