Last Night In Orlando: Violent Acts Of Mass Shootings
Last night in Orlando one of the most violent, horrific and abhorrent acts of a mass shooting took place in American history. Like everyone in the country, I am devastated about the horrific events that have taken place in Pulse.

Clubs and bars like Pulse, have served as a place of love and acceptance for the LGBT community, from those around us who are ignorant to different interpretations of love and lack an understanding of basic human rights.

It's imperative at this time that we stand with our friends, family and strangers and show that this will not be tolerated. The day that we would rather see a man holding a gun instead of holding another mans hand must never come to

It was just another Friday night at a barber shop in Columbia, S.C. Two men, armed and dangerous, rushed in guns flying, intending to rob the shop. One customer was not about to let it happen. He sat in the barber's chair, hands up until both suspects were not paying attention, when either took their eyes off him he reached for his concealed weapon and fired on the two. As they fled he managed to kill one and the other got away. Thus, none of the customers were injured. With gun violence at an all time high, the people of America are becoming aghast of weapons. Gun owners and their weapons should not be hassled with the thought of change in stricter gun laws.…

Cashing in on tragedy is Politics 101. Following the Orlando nightclub shooting on June 12 by a disturbed Muslim man of Afghan origin that felled 49 gay men and women, conservative politicians in America generally loathe to acknowledging LGBTQ rights of any kind have hijacked the fatalities to nudge national talking points away from gun control and towards their favorite bogey, radical Islam.…

The documentary “Bowling for Columbine” is an award-winning documentary directed by well-known filmmaker Michael Moore. The film won an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature, as well as an Independent Spirit Award, a Cesar Award and many others. This bold movie criticizes America’s large number of gun related deaths annually compared to other countries around the world. He discusses why America seems to have such a problem with violence and how it has led to tragedy’s involving firearms like the imfamous shooting at Columbine high school in Columbine, Colorado. Sandy Hook Shooting

Tragedy looms above all, striking at the most inopportune of ocassions before sulking off into the unspecified realm of dark situations yet again. It has no preference for a certain variety of victims; to seek and destroy is the only goal with matter. Such is the case of the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting on December 14, 2012. With fear then cast into the community of Newtown, Connecticut, and all of America, it may only be said that tragedy is received in the massive doses of heartache, despair, and a continuing aura of hopelessness, and with these feelings combined create an even more volatile feeling of misanthropy. This misanthropy hurts not only the person wielding it, but the others who may also express not as extreme feelings of misunderstanding. This unbearable, and, to some, unforgivable, act at the hands of a mentally unstable murderer is more of something of an inspiration of others to heed the calls of newfound hope in humanity, emphasize national mental health awareness, and the techniques utilized to prevent gun-related attacks.…

We have a country overrun with guns, but we are incapable of taking effective action against the situation. Evidently, my right to order is to be enforced by my right to a gun. The disorder of the few justifies my use of violence. Your Letter speaks in many place of the importance of non-violence. Non-violence as a weapon of political action we understand in theory. But when it comes to non-violence as a way life, we fail to grasp the concept. Those in conflict over guns include Christians (www.westernseminary.edu/transformedblog/2015/02/06/should-christians-carry-guns/). Scripture does not forbid us to carry. But, guns were not invented 2,000 years ago and it would be difficult to oppose the carrying of knives. It appears that some of the most outspoken about the right to carry (even in the Lord’s House) are those who speak for Christians. We had a candidate for the Presidency from the cold north who was hot on guns and Christianity. We know what you would have said to…

Mass shootings have risen to a high percentage in recent years in America; there have been more than two hundred mass shootings in the United States since the year 2006. Some of these shooters have certain similarities with each other such as being introduced to certain types of violent video games. Many of these games are believed to have certain negative effects on children who play these games; this issue has been around for over a decade on whether or not these games are too violent for younger audiences. Parents have become concerned with the games that are being manufactured today, and believe these games may lead to criminal behavior for children who play violent games. However, we do not have enough proven evidence that violent media…

Not only gun violence and mass shooting changed my expectation about America but also homeless people was another new experience I didn’t expect before coming. One of the weirdest things my friends taught me, was to do not stare people as much, but I couldn’t let things pass by without watching. I could watch something or someone for long time till I forgot where I was going, my friends decided to give me sunglass so that people couldn’t tell that I am staring to them. It was in that instant when one pregnant homeless caught me off guard and extend her arm toward me asking for help. I felt so bad that I didn’t help, I wish I could have done otherwise.…

In 1791, when the 2nd amendment was written, there was an organization called the watch. It was “made up of six watchmen, one constable, and several volunteers who patrolled at night, walking the rounds” (national law enforcement museum). Their job was to investigate and punish the criminals. The modern police’s job is to prevent and investigate the crime, and to punish the criminals. Police prevent the crimes before it even happens. Some people might ask how do they prevent crime, answer lie in a person’s phone. In 21st century most of the people who are at a crime scene will rather call the police than trying to stop it themselves. This show how much people depend on law enforcement rather than getting involved themselves. If citizen are not going to use a gun in situations like this, then they should not keep…
