Date: Kudler Fine Foods is a food company which was established by Kathy Kudler in 1998. The company specializes in bakery items cheese and dairy, meats and wine. Kudler is determined to ensure the company’s growth and therefore has to lay down proper strategies. However, the strategies are influenced in one way or another with the global market.
For the Kudler Fine Foods to be at par with other companies in the food industry, it has to adjust to the current technological advancement in the global market. Challenges of terrorism need to be dealt with since they thwart distribution processes. Airports and shipping ports being the major targets of the terrorists. In some cases, even the business itself can be a target of terrorists and therefore, the business has to strategize on how to curb this challenge.
For Karthy’s business survive in the global market, it should consider the different cultures in the global market. Kudler Fine Foods has to lay strategies of manufacturing foods that do not conflict the people’s cultures and beliefs. It should ensure that it manufactures the foods that meet the consumers’ tastes and preferences.
Similarly, for the company to survive the global market, it has to adopt he culture of alliances. The company can widen business by engaging in strategic alliances with suppliers. This can help in maintenance of low prices with guaranteed purchases. Furthermore, through alliances, the business can obtain complementary resources which lead to its faster growth and efficient expansion.
