Kirkby International College Case Study
Kirkby International College (KIC) has been established in 2007 and founded by Internexia College, which located in Selangor. During the 1950s to 1960s, Malaysia’s government used to send the local English teachers to Kirkby College which located in Liverpool, England for training program and internships, and the Internexia College was one of the foundations that associated with Kirkby College at that time, but the college has closed down in 1962 and it has been known as a higher education center from public as it produced the talented Malaysian teachers over the years (Kirkby International College 2016).
