Keep Competitive Sports in Schools! Many people wish to ban competitive sports from schools, but they do not understand that if sports are banned, kids will miss out on a good way to learn and make new friends. Sports keep your body healthy and active, and can be fun for everyone! If you are too lazy to play sports or think or think about their benefits, then you are more likely to miss out on an engaging way of exercising and meeting people. Sports can also teach your brain to stay concentrated and decision making.
One of the key reasons why we should keep competitive sports in school is because of the benefits and scholarships that may come along in the future. A mom of an athlete named Giovanna Ingram pays $75 dollars an hour for her sons

Scientists have shown that exercise is linked to brain changes throughout all stages of life and can help the brain develop and stay healthy (Chicago Tribune 2015). It also keeps blood pumping to your brain which helps you stay on task and stay focused. This is most important for kids in school because they need to stay focused and attentive during class time and lessons. When the brain develops through sports it can help with decision making and can also help to hold in frustration, and accept the criticism given to them (Chicago Tribune 2015). This is important because if people don’t know how to accept their fate they can have mental breakdowns or tantrums.
Although many people may argue about the very slight chance of injuries or concussions, those who recover usually come back for the fun of it. This demonstrates how committed and passionate people are about playing sports. Plus, many of the injuries caused from sports are very subtle and heal fairly quickly. Another con others may argue about is getting burnt, or out because of sports. This is actually not that bad because at least the athlete is in good shape.
As you can see sports are a very important tool to use throughout life. As i said, they benefit your future and education, and keep your mind and body in good shape. These two statements are incredibly important reasons why we should keep sports in schools. This
