The ancient Roman’s governments were usually Republic, Monarchy, or Dictatorship. Julius Caesar was named dictator for life in ancient Rome. Julius Caesar was a hero and was the leader of The people of ancient Rome. “Caesar was a popular and effective leader”. People really liked Caesar and thought he was a great leader. He was also given multiple offers of being the king of ancient Rome. After Julius had been killed, “No one, not not even the senators, knew what would happen to Rome next”.
