Julie James Characteristics

In the book, “I Know What You Did Last Summer” by Lois Duncan, One of the the main characters , Julie James , is described as intelligent. Julie is intelligent because she understands what she had done , and wants to go help the situation instead of just leaving. For example, right after Julie and her friends hit the little boy on the bike , she says, “The little boy! We’ve got to go help him!”(Duncan 47). After they hit the boy they realized what they had just done, so they were planning to just leave him lying there and say it was a hit and run.
