Juils: A Short Story
Julianna is a 13 year old girl. She has long brown hair, and freckles on her nose. She likes wearing dresses a lot. She in 8th grade and She goes to Eastern Christian Middle School. Her nickname is Juil. Juil lives in wyckoff the school is just two blocks away from her. She rides her bike to school. One day she wishes to win a medal for riding the fastest bike. She has a brother name nick, he is 3 years older then juli. Her Father's name is James and her mother’s is Jenna. Plus she has a dog name snowy. She has a best friend too, his name is Bryce baker. They were friends since second grade. Juil is very grateful to have such great friend. Bryce lives right across the street. They love to ride their bikes in the morning before school started. Sometimes they would even compete. Julianna would also beat Bryce at it. …show more content…
He just thought they were wrong in the head. If he could give you reason why this would be it. Reason one there yard was a mess, reason two his father is a painter, third reason there brother was sick and in a mental hospital. He just didn't like them at all. That meant that the family were not on right terms. It was a sunny friday morning at julianna's school. She was daydreaming in class. When suddenly the teacher put 3 papers on her desk to pass down. The paper's title was Family fun. Then it said want to have fun come compete with your bike, you will be competing with other families; The family who wins will win a medal.Julianna got so excited. She couldn’t wait to go home.
“Oh i can’t wait, this could be the day I finally get a medal,” exclaimed

    Mattie had just lost her father and she lives with her mother and her two little brothers. Mattie’s mother has not been feeling well so Mattie decided to buy her a wonderful present for mother’s day. One day while Mattie was shopping , she saw a gold pin, which she taught would be the perfect gift to her mother but the pin cost 50$. Mattie didn’t have have 50$ so she paid 10$ so that the store would keep it for her for 30 days. Mattie needed a way to find money, so one of her friends told her to join a contest.
